Danish Teak Tambour King Platform Bed, Bernhard Pedersen & Son
A rare king-sized Danish platform bed, in warm teak, with a pair of matching single-drawer nightstands, with a sliding tambour door on top. Each nightstand features a slide-out table with a glass top, providing additional surface space when needed. The headboard attaches to both the nightstands and bed frame, creating a clean, integrated design.
All pieces are in good vintage condition with some age-related wear; please see photos for details. The majority of the wear consists of dents and marks to the surfaces of the nightstands. The blue rubber casing surrounding the wood bed slats has also aged, and one side is currently set without it.
Mattress sits approximately 12" off the ground. Nightstands are 19.75w × 16.25d. Headboard is 84w × 4.25d.
